Why Izzy's Way
was created

Get to Know Us
Izzy’s Way was founded by Zoe Mason, owner of Artibelle Florist and mum to Isabelle (“Izzy”), whose experiences inspired the campaign.
Through both personal lived experience and a professional background in healthcare and education, Zoe has seen first-hand how disabled people and families can face subtle but deeply impactful barriers in everyday life...from inaccessible systems and dismissive attitudes to the constant emotional exhaustion of having to repeatedly advocate for equal treatment.
Like many families, Zoe recognised that discrimination is not always obvious or intentional. Often it appears quietly through exclusion, resistance to reasonable adjustments, low expectations, or disabled people being made to feel like an inconvenience simply for needing equal access and support.
Izzy’s Way was created to turn those experiences into something positive: a community-led campaign focused on awareness, advocacy, inclusion, and meaningful local change.
Our Aims and Actions
